My Round 1 entry for :iconnarutofanclub:'s OC Tournament!! :D
I got pitted against KusaNin's Kazo Yakusho. Setting is Akatsuki hideouts.

Caves make great hiding places for the less-than-savory people of the world. Old Akatsuki haunts have become likely hubs for black market and terrorist activity in the years of Reconstruction, and numerous diplomats everywhere are keeping a sharp eye on them. Kazo Yakusho is no exception.
But Roku's on the hunt for any information he can gather about Orochimaru and Kabuto, and this cave was where Kabuto aided the last remnants of the Akatsuki with his Edo Tensei soldiers. Roku's desperate for anything he might be able to use to bring back his elder brother, Ichi.
Upon meeting an opponent in the caves, Roku's attention is diverted. He's heard rumors of Kazo's skills, particularly with the manipulation of wood via chakra--and he assumes incorrectly that it's some kind of wood style, which means Senju blood.
This piece captures the moment when Roku very quickly finds out it's nothing of the sort.

And Tenzo... well, poor Tenzo thought he saw Orochimaru wandering where he shouldn't, but soon realized it wasn't. Just a suspicious boy who dressed like a Sound ninja. Naturally, as a loyal Leaf ANBU, he followed--and stumbled upon a clash in the dark.

I love how you were able to match the lighting with the background, sometimes that can be a tricky thing to do. But you seemed to have mastered it properly. This piece looks amazing, I wish you good luck for the contest! ^v^
